Following graduation in the 1980s when I worked as a fashion illustrator, I moved to London to be represented by one of the country’s leading commercial artist agents, Meiklejohn Illustration. I have completed a variety of commissions for many high profile clients including: Wimbledon Tennis Championships, The AA, Marks & Spencer, Barclays/Lloyds Banks, British Gas, Evian Water, Royal Mail, National Trust. I have also completed numerous illustrations for books and magazines within the publishing sector.
More recently I have been completing artwork in pursuit of my own personal vision. I enjoy working in several media; watercolour, pastel, crayon and gouache. Whilst my work has covered a huge range of subject matter, I am particularly recognised for work depicting human figures and places. I am passionate about drawing with a great love of colour, light and atmosphere that I aim to express through drawings and paintings.
I am also a qualified teacher and have taught at all levels from GCSE to Adults. I am available for individual or group tuition.
I welcome commission enquiries and can be contacted at [email protected]
